About The Firm
The Firm specializes in the prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and relies on highly skilled professionals who held senior executive positions in the USPTO, or had many years of experience as former examiners. The Firm counts among its clients highly respected Fortune 500 companies as well as some of the largest foreign Intellectual Property firms.
We provide assistance with some of the more complex patent related matters to corporations, U.S. and foreign patent law firms, and intellectual property practitioners throughout the world.
In addition to routine prosecution, we have handled:
- Reexamination proceedings on behalf of a patent owner or a patent opposer
- Petitions of many types, including petitions:
for an earlier filing date
to revive an abandoned application
to reinstate an expired patent and
to expedite consideration or examination
- “Navigating” through the PTO when applications fall through the cracks
- Other complex procedural issues
The Firm relies on two former Directors of the Office of Petitions, two former Administrative Law Judges at the USPTO, reissue and reexamination experts and other highly respected former USPTO officials and professors at local and international universities to help with highly complex matters before the USPTO and to serve as expert witnesses in Court proceedings.
The Firm’s mission is to provide the highest quality service to its clients at a reasonable cost.
